If JP Losman is NOT going to be the starter this year or next that you have to trade him. I mean, what is the point in keeping the kid around if he's never going to get game experience?

That's a LOT of money to pay a backup, yes?

I don't have a problem with them giving him another year to learn, but he has to get playing time, and Sunday is a perfect chance.

You're right. You gotta think.

Just let Losman and Holcomb duke it out in camp, pre-season. I don't buy ANY of the assine gossip.

Now, onto real problems (OL,DL) over perceived ( QB ).

Not according to MM....looks like MM is intent on keeping his job safe rather than looking out for the long term of this franchise....I am not syaing JP is the savior, but unless you put these players in to play you are not going to find out...

Look at Tim Anderson....It took him about 1/2 season of games to be a starter

to find out that he can play.....THe last few weeks he has been playing very

well starting from that Carolina game....Young players (especially the ones

drafted in later rounds) take time to get their feet wet in the NFl...Teams have

to be patient.....

It is sad that MM is in with the maddening Veteran crowd and not looking out

for the future...If I were MM, I will be activating Gates (instead of Williams),

give more playing time for Baker and King....Put in preston and Geisinger on

the OL.....It it time to see how our young kids can handle the NFL pressure.
