Buftex
What about Marty Schottenheimer? I heard it braught it up tonight that Marty could be on the "hot seat". What say, Wade Phillips gets the Chargers job, how about Marty to Buffalo....he is sort of the Larry Brown of NFL coaches. He turns every team around, very quickly, but his legacy as an NFL coach will always be clouded, until he wins a Super Bowl...why not in Buffalo, where he started! sweet baboo
Dick Vermeil has won a super bowl and always fields a contender and a solid O-line
apulshunny
I live in San Diego, and there is no way Shottenheimer leaves. The team here was so bad for so long and Marty has them in the playoffs last year and serious contenders this year. Bum's son will likely be a head coach again somewhere, but not here. As for Vermeil, if he "retires", why would he immediately take a job in Buffalo? I'm praying for Fisher.

But, they were saying that AJ Smith was pretty fond of Wade, and he is not crazy about losing him to the Texans, or whoever....
Buckeye Eric
Vermeil and Shottenheimer are over-the-hill. Haslett has proiven nothing in N.O. Fisher is the only one mentioned worth considering. Odds are, however, that MM will still be the HC and TD the GM.
Pete
What has Schotenheimer ever done? All he does when he is at his best is lose AFC championship games. No way in hell do I want Marty, JJ, Haslett or Vermeil coaching here.

I'm still backing my wildcard pick Jim Tressel from Ohio St...I think he would be a picture perfect fit who would bring Leadership, and install a belief that is sorely missing in Buffalo...
