Simon Posted December 28, 2005 Posted December 28, 2005 My kids got Lost: Season 1 for Christmas and along with my wife are now hopelessly addicted. They've already watched over half of it and want to finish it and then watch what has happened so far in Season2 before picking up the show on Jan 11. Do any of y'all have Season2's episodes on dvd or vhs? If anybody does, I'd love to be able to give them to the kids when they're done with Season1. I'll gladly pay for any materials, shipping, labor, etc. if anybody's willing to send them to Western Pennsyltucky. Thanx!!!!!
Clockwork Posted December 28, 2005 Posted December 28, 2005 I have all the episodes on my computer, and I keep them pretty up to date. I would have to burn them onto DVD, but I certainly could do it for you. PM me.
Jukester Posted December 28, 2005 Posted December 28, 2005 I'm in a similar predicament. I'll PM you.
UConn James Posted December 28, 2005 Posted December 28, 2005 Same deal w/ my brother & s-i-l. I dropped the Season 1 discs off at their house last month with a 'You HAVE to watch this show' note. They're hooked, but haven't watched Season 2 yet. Brother is headed to Afghanistan soon for a year-year and a half tour.... By that time, I think LOST is slated to be done. And, the cast of the show was named "Entertainers of the Year" by People magazine. Well deserved, tho I think the writers had something to do with their success.... For all of you who've been down on Season 2 so far (I'm not, except for the casting of M-Rod), think about it. Think back to the start of the year, then the 3-hour finale ep. They got it on the Arzt explosion alone. I was expecting some stuff in that ep, but when that happened I damn near jumped off the couch and hit the ceiling. (Had the sound up pretty loud, too).
ASCI Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 Lost is a much better show when you can watch all the episodes in a row with out commercials and repeats. I got hooked on Lost from watching season 1 episodes on DVD last summer. I started watching season 2 on TV but it is pissing me off with all the repeats and endless commercials wasting my time so I stopped watching and will wait for the DVD for season 2 to come out.
CosmicBills Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 You can also get the new season off of ITunes...I don't know how much per show though. But it will download it right onto your computer for you.

My biggest problem with not watching a show like Lost every week is that you're bound to hear spoilers, either on the radio, online, etc. I hate being spoiled. CW
UConn James Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 My biggest problem with not watching a show like Lost every week is that you're bound to hear spoilers, either on the radio, online, etc. I hate being spoiled. 545267[/snapback] The commercials are part of the territory and it gives you pee-pee time after drinking all of that coconut juice at the TBD Lost party. It's the long hiatuses that are really starting to irk me more than they did last year. Nine eps in, and we've seen them all twice or in some cases, three times. The spoilers didn't bother me either, and then in the lead-up to where Shannon died and then when the double-wide exploded killing Wayne, it's gotten to the point of 'OK, just shut up and let us watch the show and be surprised.' The Arzt exploding scene was so shocking and so friggin' great b/c absolutely no one saw it coming.
