SDS Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 Please post your guess below...I'll provide the answer in a bit if no one gets it. 543165 It was three days after the 11th anniversary of my 1st date with Deborah... Next!
duey Posted December 27, 2005 Author Posted December 27, 2005 It was three days after the 11th anniversary of my 1st date with Deborah... Next! 543169 Damn Scott...you got it!
VABills Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 Since it's in the SW area, the day Butler was fired? Forget that: I know, the last time the Bills played on MNF.
duey Posted December 27, 2005 Author Posted December 27, 2005 I know, the last time the Bills played on MNF. 543176 We have a winner! Kind of shocking, given the fact that the Bills were a MNF staple for the better part of the 90's.
VABills Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 We have a winner! Kind of shocking, given the fact that the Bills were a MNF staple for the better part of the 90's. 543180 Wasn't it also about the time Butler got fired? I believe he was officially relieved before the end of the season. Not sure of the date.
SDS Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 They'll never be ABC's MNF again. 543226 Well, ABC could re-bid the next go around if this fails.
Mark VI Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 Well, ABC could re-bid the next go around if this fails. 543228 Isn't ABC and ESPN the same company ?
erynthered Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 Well, ABC could re-bid the next go around if this fails. 543228 True. Bill's could move too.
SDS Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 Isn't ABC and ESPN the same company ? 543231 Well, ABC/ESPN gave up the Sunday Night game, so I assume if MNF would return to ABC proper - then some sort of reshuffling would need to take place with all the networks and the various broadcast packages...
BillsBabe Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 Wasn't it also about the time Butler got fired? I believe he was officially relieved before the end of the season. Not sure of the date. 543181 Yes. Don't know exact date, but, yes.
EndZoneCrew Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 The EZC definitely made that road trip to Indy.....very fond memories of the drive down there (2...15 passenger vans worth) Boy did we get thumped in that game.....There were without a doubt 5,000 fans in our endzone chanting "Buffalo Sucks" right at us! Thank you very much!
JDG Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 Well, ABC could re-bid the next go around if this fails. 543228 Except that the NFL has made an executive decision to put its premiere package of games on Sunday Nights instead of Monday nights, so it would require both the NFL changing its packaging back to the old ways and ABC rebidding and winning. So, the funny thing is that the Bills are almost guaranteed to be on "Monday Night Football" next year, and have almost no shot of being on Sunday Night. JDG
Fezmid Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 Isn't ABC and ESPN the same company ? 543231 Yup, Disney. CW
