SuperBills12 Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 Wake up NFL! Don't reward the loser teams with high draft picks, but give the highest ones to the teams with the best records that didn't make the playoffs.... This is will improve the quality of play in the league down the stretch as it gives loser teams something to play for
stuckincincy Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 Don't the NBA and the NHL use some form of picking out of a hat?
The Tomcat Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 I like the idea of the last 5-10 in a lottery of sorts....
Tortured Soul Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 This has been discussed in the media, and the sentiment was that there is too much at stake for a team ever to lose on purpose. Plus, no draft pick - not even the great Reggie - is a sure thing. Plus, this might cause teams to play kelly Holcomb istead of JP Losman.
