ofiba Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 The Broncos had Champ Bailey on Lee Evans for most of the night. He really shut him down. It seems like the Broncos covered Lee as if he was the #1 reciever. I don't know if this is new to you guys, but I just thought it was interesting.
BigB7184 Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 plus he didn't catch anything that was thrown to him
boomerjamhead Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 plus he didn't catch anything that was thrown to him 536513 Exactly.

Buford T. Justice Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 Let's cut him too. He's obviously not NFL caliber. Josh Reed part deux.
Formerly Allan in MD Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 Champ Bailey is an overrated corner. Evans shut himself down.
Ramius Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 Doesnt help when Holcomb is overthrowing him, or throwing behind him, yet manages to hit moulds right on the #'s...

It seems like the Broncos covered Lee as if he was the #1 reciever. I don't know if this is new to you guys, but I just thought it was interesting. 536474 The broncos have the 29th ranked pass defense. Champ Bailey is not some shutdown corner. I've seen him repeatedly get burned by the likes of eddie kennison, sammie parker, eric parker, amani toomer among others. Like any other corner he's prone to slip ups. No such thing as shut down. Bailey isn't the reason evans had a bad game. Evans is the reason Evans had a bad game.
Buftex Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 Doesnt help when Holcomb is overthrowing him, or throwing behind him, yet manages to hit moulds right on the #'s... 536968 So, wait, now Holcomb is out to undermine Lee Evans too? He really is a locker- room cancer..."the truth is out there"!
Billsjunkie Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 Its just obvious to me that Holcomb has more of a thing going with Moulds and Evan is more comfortable with Losman. Nobody is out to get anybody.
CoachChuckDickerson Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 Doesnt help when Holcomb is overthrowing him, or throwing behind him, yet manages to hit moulds right on the #'s... 536968 did u forget the ?
Ramius Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 did u forget the ? 537045 yah i did...evans didnt play particularly well, but holcomb didnt do him any favors on a few passes as well. We were all joking at the bar that it was a conspiracy and moulds paid off holcomb to throw to him all game and ignore evans
Golden Wheels Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 Evans on Sat. Night -> alligator arms

We were all joking at the bar that it was a conspiracy and moulds paid off holcomb to throw to him all game and ignore evans 537125 With Evans' early drops, he deserved to be ignored.
ganesh Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 With Evans' early drops, he deserved to be ignored. 537234 At least he did not go pouting on the sidelines.
Fixxxer Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 Maybe Evans refuses to play for Holcomb j/k
finknottle Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 Let's cut him too. He's obviously not NFL caliber. Josh Reed part deux. 536554 and he's a midget, too.
BuffBills#1 Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 If we loose Moulds, Evans is going to have games like this on a consistent basis. It is much different having the #1 corner on you with the FS double teaming you then going up against just the #2 corner.
