Rico Posted December 18, 2005 Posted December 18, 2005 Sure looking like their typical playoff selfs against the Bolts so far today. They may yet turn this game around, but IMO it is a sign of things to come.
thisiskeith12 Posted December 18, 2005 Posted December 18, 2005 The Rams were up 17-0 when they played the Colts, then Indy came back and won 45-28. I wouldn't count out the Colts just yet... Not that I'm a closet fan or anything...

/dev/null Posted December 18, 2005 Posted December 18, 2005 as a Bills fan, you should be well aware than any 1st quarter lead is meaningless

/dev/null Posted December 18, 2005 Posted December 18, 2005 Why yes I do. They still have homefield to play for, as well that perfect season. 536000 they have already clinched homefield

But I think the 1st quarter Colts today is what we'll see in the playoffs. Manning is just like Dan,smack him around a little & he gets frustrated + loses his composure.
jjamie12 Posted December 18, 2005 Posted December 18, 2005 Manning is just like Dan,smack him around a little & he gets frustrated + loses his composure. 536004 I always get a little chuckle when people / analysts say this... Isn't this true about every QB who ever played? They don't do as well when they get smacked around a little bit?!?!? Of course Manning doesn't play as well when he gets beaten up... Nobody does.

BuffOrange Posted December 18, 2005 Posted December 18, 2005 I hate watching this game. I'd like to see the Chargers in the playoffs but I also want the lame '72 Dolphins to get a life and never be heard from again.
Pete Posted December 18, 2005 Posted December 18, 2005 I hate the Dolphins so I am rooting for Indy to go undefeated. Yeah its spite. I want Csonka and company to have to put back that champagne instead of opening it
Simon Posted December 18, 2005 Posted December 18, 2005 #1) Every single time the Colts have bowed out of the playoffs in the Manning era, the primary culprit was an atrocious effort form their receivers and TE's. #2) Those who think the Colts are out of it because they're down 2 scores, are probably the same people that think the Bills could have "iced" the dolphin game with a 3rdqrtr fieldgoal.
Cheeseburger_in_paradise Posted December 18, 2005 Posted December 18, 2005 The fish record may be safe. SD plays manning as tough as anyone. Make no mistake, this Colts team is good. Almost better to lose now and just worry about winning at home in the playoffs.

Normally I'd agree, but I'm not so sure that they'll come back today, since they're "only" playing to be undefeated. The Vikings/Steelers game is pretty amusing. Vikings drive to the red zone and get picked twice, and have a fieldgoal blocked. They're down 10-3. CW
Ralonzo Posted December 18, 2005 Posted December 18, 2005 Ruh roh, Brees intercepted. Ruh roh, 16-10.
Fezmid Posted December 18, 2005 Posted December 18, 2005 17-16 colts 536051 Well, what the heck do I know. I assumed Dungy would start pulling people and that the intensitity of the players would drop, especially after an early deficit. I guess not Go Colts! CW
Grant Posted December 18, 2005 Posted December 18, 2005 Remember the Buffalo Bills of the 90s with that "never say die" attitude and the capability to light the scoreboard up before you knew it? They live today as the Indianapolis Colts.
MartyBall4Buffalo Posted December 18, 2005 Posted December 18, 2005 That huge run by michael turner all but wraps up the chargers victory. No undefeated season for the colts
Ralonzo Posted December 18, 2005 Posted December 18, 2005 1. I hate the f^%#in Dolphins. 2. Now I have no reason to watch football for the next two weeks.
