Guest BackInDaDay Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 That is, whether Ralph does something, or nothing, does it have much influence on the value of his franchise? I don't think it has enough to motivate such an elderly owner into making any changes. Also, what part does the NFL play in assisting aging owners whose heirs have no interest (other than it's value) in the club? The commissioner has an obligation to maintain the league's stabilty. At some point Wilson must be approached (I'd be surprised if the topic hasn't already been tabled) about transitioning ownership of his team.
