NavyBillsFan Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 Nice job Buffalo! Hardest and youngest team in hockey kickin tail!!!! Come back win AGAIN! Sabres win 3-2!!!!!!!!
loadofmularkey Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 Sabres defeat Minnesota 3-2 thanks to Drury's game-winner late in the 3rd. They are now four points back of Ottawa for the division lead. Also, congrats to Marty Biron who racked up his 10th straight win (team record). Unlike the Bills, this team knows how to win on the road (seven straight). They are coming home to play Dallas on Wednesday...this is not a TV game, it's a radio only affair. PLEASE GO. I want to see a decent crowd in that arena.
mcjeff215 Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 Nice! This team is special! 528778 Yes they are, but not in the "Buffalo Bills Padded Helmet" way!!!!
MadBuffaloDisease Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 I don't get to see much of them, but from what I've heard, they're pretty banged-up. Yet they're still winning. Are any of the walking wounded close to coming back?
jester43 Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 yes that was awesome! and the best part was, they credited the goal to GRIER on the deflection...the second time in the game he stole a goal from drury! (my fantasy hockey arch-nemesis has DRURY on his team) anyway, THANK YOU SABRES!
MadBuffaloDisease Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 Wait, who started in goal that Sharks game last Friday night? I thought it was Biron.
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 Move it to the Sabres board. 528797 why this board needs something positive to "discuss"
loadofmularkey Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 why this board needs something positive to "discuss" 528798 EXACTLY. And yes, it was Mika who started that SJ game last week. He let in four goals in the 1st pd. and Marty came in for the rest.
cåblelady Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 why this board needs something positive to "discuss" 528798 Hey! I'm still feeding my Bills lose again frenzy. I'm entitled.

He let in four goals in the 1st pd. and Marty came in for the rest. 528806 Marty has won 10 in a row. Man folks were ready to run him out of town when he played like crap when Miller went down initially. The new rules favor the speed this team has.
PTS Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 I don't get to see much of them, but from what I've heard, they're pretty banged-up. Yet they're still winning. Are any of the walking wounded close to coming back? 528788 Briere came back tonight and played well. Miller is back in Rochester to regain his conditioning. He won tonight 3-1 against the AHL team in Toronto. Dumont had sports hernea surgery and is out 3/4 months. Pyatt is out for a few months as well with a broken wrist. Go Sabres Go!
loadofmularkey Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 Did the lockout end? I hadn't noticed. 528821 That's your issue. Do what you need to do to take care of that. There's a hell of a hockey team in our own backyard folks. Wednesday. Stars. No TV. GO.
DC Mom Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 That's your issue. Do what you need to do to take care of that. There's a hell of a hockey team in our own backyard folks. 528826 I don't know how to skate so hockey makes me cry.
Typical TBD Guy Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 Did the lockout end? I hadn't noticed. 528821 That's too bad, Carp Heaver, because the new NHL happens to be the most entertaining pro sports league around. And I'm not just saying that because the Sabres are doing good and the Bills aren't.
loadofmularkey Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 I don't get to see much of them, but from what I've heard, they're pretty banged-up. Yet they're still winning. Are any of the walking wounded close to coming back? 528788 Miller has been cleared to play and is rehabbing with Rochester. Briere made his return to the lineup tonight. Dumont is out until Feb. or March.
