Poeticlaw Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 Ok so Bills fans and Patriot fans alike didnt like the netal breakdowns Bledsoe had in big games. But When Blesoe came to Buffalo he was a 3,000 a year QB his first year with us he throws over 4000 yds and then falls short the following two years and then is released. Bledsoe then goes to Dallas and with 4 games left he only needs to average Just under a 100 yds per game to obtain his yearly average. Year Team G GS Att Cmp CmpPct Yd YAtt Lg TD Int Rate Att Yd Avg TD 2005 DAL 12 12 374 229 61.2 2703 7.2 70 17 11 86.1 31 50 1.6 2 2004 BUF 16 16 450 256 56.9 2932 6.5 69 20 16 76.6 22 37 1.7 0 2003 BUF 16 16 471 274 58.2 2860 6.1 54 11 12 73.0 24 29 1.2 2 The point Im getting to. We havent had a 300 yard passer but we released him and hes thrown over 300 yds in todays game alone. So the thing I am trying to put my finger on is how much of it is the coaching, which Bledsoe had 3 in last three years, how much is the offensive coordinator, Bledsoe has had 3 in the last 3 years, and How much is the OFFENSIVE LINE. Which he had a better one before he came to Buffalo and a better on after he left. How much is the recieving core I.E. TE that can catch-once reimersna and price left Bledsoes numbers Dropped. SO if there is no viable drop down option how is any QB ever going to get good When your only true reciever is constantly doupled covered and the line is giving you a miny second to get rid of it. Personally, I hated to see Bledsoe go. As we can purely see after his departure that is TD and the Offensive line are the two major things that need to be rectified immeadately if we ever have a chance to be a good team again. Even seeing Flutie on the field day atleast reminded me of the last playoff we were at. Year Passing Rushing
