Understandable. I'm the same way. But we might as well look for other candidates.

Then again, I'm no more in the loop than you are, so who really knows.

Maybe we can get that cabbie that Berman knew in the old days to start talking about what move Ralph will be making. I just cant believe the TD era will continue much more Ralph wants to win the big one or at least be competative again.

I heard JJ is really interested in the sport of competitive ice fishing...what a better place to hone your skill. All that hairspray will shield him from the cold..plus now he can crush a box of Flutie Flakes in our locker room and it would be okay....

I think there is a lot of substance to this rumor...we should start a new thread..from Son of Satan to Pork faced Satan..

I despise the guy but..

You have to be a pretty damn good coach to get 53 coke heads together to win a superbowl.

Just my opinion but:

1) No way Ralph wants Johnson. Too high of a pricetag and the two never exactly got along during JJ's days in Dallas and Miami.

2) No way Johnson wants Buffalo. He won't have total control (not with Wilson around), and he won't get the money he would from other franchises.

Pay him RALPHHHHH!!!--so you die with $620 million instead of $650 million!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

lets see-a $25,000 investment in 1960 returns annual income in the low 8 figures and is now worth at least $400 million...I think Ralph has the money to spend on a coach.

What a great time to take on an additional investor like Tom G., Bob Rich or Jeremy Jacobs so that we have a smooth transition...

This is funny. Do you know what kind of salary he would command? Will Ralph even consider such a thing?

There, you answered your own question.

I would rather see the Bills continue to lose than to hire Johnson.

This is a man who has frequently taunted us, and worse....has a propensity toward bringing in criminals.

JJ is not the only person who can make us a winner. Frankly, he didn't do so well in Miami, and I don't know what makes people think that he would thrive in Buffalo.

Ralph isn't getting any younger and I think he has finally realized that if he wants to win now he can't keep gambling on unproven coaches. IMHO he may, just may pony up the coin to get JJ in here.

Personally, I'd love the move.

Winning solves all problems!

As hard as this might be to swallow, JJ is a winner. He has passion, we hated him in Dallas and Miami because when he beat us he let the world know he beat us! Confidence and passion, we could use a good dose of that around here.

A football guy who knows how to win, yea that would suck!

i saw it and jimmy said no he is NOT GOING TO BUFFALO which means he is coming of course lol lol how 'bout them bills!

i haven't read the entire thread so i don't know if this was mentioned...but JJ was caught between a rock and a Marino. he had the power to either dump, trade or sit Marino and develop the offense he wanted but somehow he didn't have the balls to pull the trigger on dumping Marino....who at the time, obviously was "ALL EVERYTHING" to everyone in South Florida.

Sort of the same boat the Packers are in with Favre right now.

I think JJ's status as a genius is the result f being at the right place and the right time. He took over a Cowboys team that already had talent.

He went to Miami and fell on his face.

You think the Denver/Jacksonville debacles in the playoffs in 98/99 would've been any better with Jay Fiedler running the show?

Relax- we took Gregg Williams after home run throwback- Thurman Thomas finished his career in Miami. Hell, for all we know Moulds might do the same. This is an unkind world sir, that's why I say- JJ or bust!!

Well maybe you would like to see the Bills continue to lose than hire Johnson, but not me. I wanna win a fuggin superbowl before I die. If it is gonna take Johnson to have complete control of the franchise to do it I could give a rats ass. Taunted us? What are you talking about? Got any other names in mind right now that are credible as head coaches? And didn't he take Miami to the playoffs two out of his three years there? And build a killer defense. But, why bring in a coach whi has THREE superbowls that makes no sense. Lets go after a coordinater or a college coach who is unproven. Dumb! Our last two have been home runs maybe the third will be a charm ;) .

People who are stuck in the 90's with the Jim Kelly era need to get over it. It's 2005 and we haven't won a playoff game in 10 years. If it's about us getting back in the playoffs then Ralph should pony up the money and bring in JJ.

I'm sick of fuggin MEDIOCRITY!
