Formerly Allan in MD Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 Ralph needs to make a statement, for the good of the fans and this team, immediately. He should fire Donahoe and Mularkey and appoint and interim GM and coach through the remainder of the season. This organization is the laughingstock of the NFL and is far beyond retrieving. Anything short of immediate action by the owner is irresponsible.
Corp000085 Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 Maybe after the Denver game. 528310 imagine the crowd reaction if donahoe is lead out of the stadium by security in the 3rd quarter after going down to the sidelines...
Sound_n_Fury Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 Maybe after the Denver game. 528310 You're probably on to something. Last home game of the year, then fire the GM with two road games to go.

Formerly Allan in MD Posted December 12, 2005 Author Posted December 12, 2005 Did Ralph get back to the home in time for evening bingo ? 528352 This, of course, is a major concern. If Ralph cannot make the call, we are in much deeper than one caould ever imagine. Keeping Donahoe and Mularkey around for any appreciable period of time will likely increase the puzzlement and snickers around the league and could basically make this a lame duck franchise. Should the spiral continue, and what are the expectations that it won't, it will lead the fans to stop coming to games and free agents avoiding the Bills like the plague. Hello LA or Vegas!

Why would they want to be a lame duck for a few games- as that is usually what happens. Keep things as is, and then decide in the offseason. Knee jerk reactions are usually the wrong ones.
Thailog80 Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 Ralphs statement........ I like pudding more than I used to.
Corp000085 Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 we do joke, but ralph's elevator still goes to the penthouse. he'll make his statement.

airhunter11 Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 Why would they want to be a "lame duck" for the last few games? How much more lame duck can we possibly be....you could have Screech (from saved by the bell) coaching these guys and get a better result.

Above all, it sends a message to the fans and the team that ownership cares.
