Pete Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 This kid is the best LT prospect since Ogden. If we keep losing we will only have to move up a few spots. Looks like Houston is gonna take Bush and they were the team most likely to draft D'Brickshaw. Make it happen! http://virginiasports.collegesports.com/sp...ickashaw00.html
Coach Tuesday Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 No. Today's Buff News article on Peters has me finally convinced (along with watching him all season) that we may have an elite LT on our hands. If Peters was able to pick up RT that quickly, and his footwork is that good, move him to LT this offseason, and move Gandy to LG (Gandy has been a fine LT this year - but he's not "elite"). Preston at center (Teague is a goner), Villareal at RG (he is underrated by Bills fans - I've seen games where he's just dominated), and all we need is a RT. Shouldn't be too hard to find one in the draft or free agency. WE NEED TO DRAFT A STUD DT.

Many holes to fill I would hate to see us pass on the next Ogden

SACTOBILLSFAN Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 Ferguson would have to put on 50+ lbs to be the next mike williams

Until this team fixes their horrible offensive line we won't be able to attract FA's and this team will continue to go down the tubes. Yes, we need a DT also but we make Offensive line first and DT second. We will be blaming JP and Willis for the offense but games are won and lost on the battle lines.
BillsFanForever19 Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 WE NEED TO DRAFT A STUD DT. 527567 The problem being: there is no STUD DT in this year's draft. Haolti Ngata is the top DT and he's projected to go mid-1st round. We'll be picking a lot higher. As much as I like Ferguson, i'd rather address our new LT in free agency. I say we stand put and try to get Jimmy Williams with our pick (if not, Michael Huff). Then try and trade up back into late round one and take a guy like Gabe Watson (DT).
BuffaloRebound Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 I don't think the Bills go with an OL in the top 5 because of the Ryan Leaf/Mike Williams syndrome. Too much money tied down to a position where they don't want to make the same mistake.

Dawgg Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 Linemen? Who need linemen? Let's draft another receiver. gantrules Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 well he's got a cool name....just think he could be D'Brick in the wall...
X. Benedict Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 How about a speedy reciever that is slightly undersized? Add some more downfield speed and we don't need an offensive line. Either that, or start running the single wing.
JAMIEBUF12 Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 if he is the best left tackle available in the draft then hell yeah
Tcali Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 Ferguson would have to put on 50+ lbs to be the next mike williams 527589 lol

drunkenirishmann Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 If this game is any indication how the remaining 3 games are going to go we won't need to trade up.
Like A Mofo Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 I think on the surface right now it might be wise for the Bills to trade down, stockpile some picks for a new GM who hopefully will be here in April, and address the MANY needs this franchise has right now.
Pete Posted December 11, 2005 Author Posted December 11, 2005 If this game is any indication how the remaining 3 games are going to go we won't need to trade up. 527978 my thoughts exactly after todays abortion. The only game we have a chance of winning is the Jets. The Jets are gonna destroy us. We will not win again until 2006

We have so many needs.......
R. Rich Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 There may not be a bunch of team that want to trade up to the Bills' pick though, unless the pick is high enough that Bush is still on the board.
