obie_wan Posted December 8, 2005 Posted December 8, 2005 A brief scouting report on Howie: Felthersnatch, Howie DT Northern Iowa An extremely intelligent lad who's 2.2 GPA ranked him second on his squad. Overall, Howie (pronounced How I..) was in on 3 tackles and had a near sack when Eastern Michigans' talented QB, Tasty Furberger fell and broke his leg durirg their game in September. Howie, a one year football letterman ( former walk-on water boy!) made huge strides over the course of this season. His Head Coach, Rusty Nall (pronounced Nail, but you guessed it!) said of Howie, the sky is the limit for his Professional Football dreams! Other items of note as follows... Bench Press: 110 lbs. Vertical "leap": 3 or 4 inches tops Two cone drill: He nestles into a set every Friday Night! 525486 not a chance- He didn't suffer any career threatneing knee injuries. However, this shortcoming may be overcome if he qualifies as a high motor guy
Bflojohn Posted December 9, 2005 Posted December 9, 2005 WE have our winner and it is non other than me!!! Obie_Wan is Tom Donahoe! I knew I'd get ya to slip up..... HA!!!
hudella Posted December 9, 2005 Posted December 9, 2005 I heard a rumor that Howie Felterbush dispite only having 3 career takles, had 33 hits in one game...
MikeSpeed Posted December 9, 2005 Posted December 9, 2005 After cutting EM, MW, trading WM, and get rid of anyone else with an M in thier initials, we spend our first 5 picks all on TE's. We convert them all to OL and win the SB by using a new offense based solely on the tackle eligable play.
smokinandjokin Posted December 9, 2005 Posted December 9, 2005 Howie Felterbush correction... *Feltersnatch* 525834 The guy was on every major publication (SI, ESPN the Mag, Sporting News, Time, Newsweek) touting him as the next great white high motor defensive lineman, hyping Northern Iowa to defeat Southern Cal, and you get his name wrong? For shame...And you call yourself a sportsfan.
