FanfromAlbany Posted December 8, 2005 Posted December 8, 2005 Plain potato chips are great with beer. Favored chips can make a beer taste funny. I like the kettle-cooked chips best.
Ramius Posted December 8, 2005 Posted December 8, 2005 Plain potato chips are great with beer. Favored chips can make a beer taste funny. I like the kettle-cooked chips best. 524979 I'm still a big fan of beer and pretzels...
KRC Posted December 8, 2005 Posted December 8, 2005 Beer and Food pairings 525162 Scotch Ale with French Onion soup? I do not see that pairing that well. I am thinking a hopped-up English Brown Ale would be a better fit (depending on how salty the soup is). Unless I am thinking of a different style, isn't a Scotch Ale a little too smokey for that type of soup (at least the Scotch Ales I have tried)?
X. Benedict Posted December 8, 2005 Posted December 8, 2005 Beer goes with everything (except maybe Holy Communion).
stuckincincy Posted December 8, 2005 Posted December 8, 2005 Beer goes with everything (except maybe Holy Communion). 525178 Take a bite and a couple of chews of a milk chocolate bar and follow it with a swig. You will retract that goes-with-everything...
