macaroni Posted December 8, 2005 Posted December 8, 2005 (1) A lot of people on this board have sided with Moulds. Guys, how can you side with Moulds, or Mularkey for that matter, when it has yet to be disclosed EXACTLY what happened? Wait until the complete story is told before taking sides. 525034 While I agree that we don't know exactly what happened with Moulds ...... we also don't know exactly know what happened with Adams either ...... as a matter of fact we also don't know what happened with Ruben Brown. All we really know is that for some reason the brain trust at One Bills Drive felt they were being "disruptive" and had to be eliminated from the team. There comes a time when an individual who feels everyone around him is crazy (or disruptive) must start to look at himself.
tennesseeboy Posted December 8, 2005 Posted December 8, 2005 We arent' going to the playoffs. EM is not playing for us next year. We don't want to fire MM until the end of the season. Sounds like suspension gives us more of a chance to evaluate or develop existing talent for next year, and we can keep the coach we probably need to end this travesty of a season. Suspension for the season is the easy way out. If Moulds pulled himself (Cookie Gilcrhist got suspended for that once...and the team got Saban to change his mind letting him back to win our first AFL championship.) suspension for the rest of the season might be a good idea.
Bflojohn Posted December 8, 2005 Posted December 8, 2005 There was an article in the Buffalo News and the photo spoke VOLUMES to me! Mike Mularkey looks about as pissed as your ever going to see him on a sideline...Go look it up from last weekend. The telltale proof that Eric might have been dogging it probably is "in" that picture! Just a guess.... The article in question is entitled, "Moulds is simply forgettable in defeat" by Allen Wilson. For those of you amongst us that are keen on body language, I'd say that that pic conveys it ALL! Mularkey is even pointing a enraged finger at him... PRETTY DEMONSTATIVE!
nero47 Posted December 8, 2005 Posted December 8, 2005 Well, in part because the mere fact that we don't know exactly what happened also indicates that this was hardly a TO/Keyshawn/Moss-caliber type of incident. All signs point to it being reasonably small potatoes that Mularkey managed to blow-up into a full-grown circus. JDG 525041 This may have been the final straw of a season filled with them. Case in point, Stories coming out that the veterans would play harder for KH than JP. Therefore the change to KH with wins resulting over poor teams. If memory serves EM was one of those vets. In Sunday's game, we started out like a house of fire, then apparently something happened that boiled over into what we have today. Em has been a great receiver for a number of years, but if he truly believes in the Bills first, he would adhere to the game plan as devised during the week. Hopefully we will get the whole story eventually.

I say MM has every reason to be pissed for that reason alone. If EM wants to be admired as a veteran player, he must be mature and self-less to deserve that tag.
BB2004 Posted December 8, 2005 Posted December 8, 2005 If they suspend him for the year that's fuggin BULLSH*T. Moulds is a stud and has always been a team player. He works hard in the offseason, stays in top condition, and he's proud to be a Buffalo Bill. He deserves better than this. 524537 Well said.

Benjamin Franklin Posted December 8, 2005 Posted December 8, 2005 Remember when Moulds' poked his ex-girlfreind in the face and picked her up by the neck...after breaking down her door? Or how about the three years of child support he didn't pay until he was facing jail time? Let's all stop sucking his d___ here, OK? Moulds has been a hard-working football player, but he can be a J/O. Maybe he went over the line.

Any progress?
