Pete Posted December 6, 2005 Posted December 6, 2005 we could be Eagles fans. Man what a pathetic franchise. To think that they were favorites for the Superbowl in the beginning of the year . Philly is just awful!
mcjeff215 Posted December 6, 2005 Posted December 6, 2005 ya we could be jets fans! 521911 Nope, we would have flipped to the Giants by now.

GG Posted December 6, 2005 Posted December 6, 2005 Man, talk about taking the words out of my mouth. BTW, how long did Holmgren have until he brought Seahawks into respectability?
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted December 6, 2005 Posted December 6, 2005 Man, talk about taking the words out of my mouth. BTW, how long did Holmgren have until he brought Seahawks into respectability? 521932 A long time, but he did lose his GM role.

Thailog80 Posted December 6, 2005 Posted December 6, 2005 After they sign Eric Moulds and have a healthy DM back look out.
VABills Posted December 6, 2005 Posted December 6, 2005 Talking to a beagles fan at work today. He was unhappy, as expected. I told him we would trade coaches with him, and he was like "No !@#$ing way".
JDG Posted December 6, 2005 Posted December 6, 2005 we could be Eagles fans. Man what a pathetic franchise. To think that they were favorites for the Superbowl in the beginning of the year . Philly is just awful! 521885 I can't believe you just called the second-most successful franchise in the NFL for the past five years "pathetic." The Eagles have lost their two best players this year, and after an incredible run are having a down year. Remember the Bills in 1994 after the 4th Super Bowl? That year included some home-shellackings to the Jets and Patriots to the tune of 3-23 and 17-41. And that's with Andre Reed playing the whole year, and Jim Kelly playing most of it. JDG
JDG Posted December 6, 2005 Posted December 6, 2005 Man, talk about taking the words out of my mouth. BTW, how long did Holmgren have until he brought Seahawks into respectability? 521932 Well, Holmgren made the playoffs in his first year. He then missed the playoffs for the next three year, but finished 9-7 and one game out of the playoffs in his third year. Following that he made the Wild Card, and now has two straight division titles. JDG
