lawnboy1977 Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 I dont know how many other wrestling fans we have on TBD, but WWE.com just announced today that Saturday Night's main Event will make it's long awaited return to NBC this March. I think this is fantastic for the WWE since it will be their first time on one of the 4 major networks in over 10 years, they aired a Wrestlemania special in late 1995 and UPN is not considered a major network. What was always cool about SNME was that it featured PPV calibur matches at a time when the then WWF only has 4 PPV events a year, Wrestlemania, Summerslam, Survivor Series and Royal Rumble. I'm wondering if having pay per view type matches on Saturday Night, which will probably only air 3-5 times a year, mostly when SNL is off for the week, will this take away from the PPV buy rates? Any thoughts? SNME Returns!
