inkman
This thread is just brilliant. Willis is one of the best players on this team. Period. He also is one of the best RBs in the NFL. He is playing with one of the worst lines in professional football. Give the guy a friggen break. 517241 He might be, but he's still a moron for saying that stupid sh--! TheMadCap
Dude should pack his bags and head back to Tulane and see if he can get a couple more snaps there...he is nowhere near being an NFL player... Madcap you want mediocrity? go the the NO Saints website...oh wait they beat us too.... 517195 No, I don't. I wouldn't think anyone would. But trust me, I have seen much, much worse in the 1980's...

CW 517247 Yup, that's how it goes. Say nothing, and you have no "heart," no "attitude." Say something, and you have an attitude problem. Welcome to the retard rollercoaster.... I have news for you. Every great player in this league thinks pretty highly of himself. If Willis had a decent line, he could be leading the league in yards. As it is, he is up there. Dawgg
Granted Willis plays in front of a bad o-line, Coach Mularkey is right... there are numerous instances in which he does not hit the holes hard enough the way Travis used to when he was here. Now don't misinterpret me as saying Travis is better -- he's not. But Willis is hurting the team sometimes when he dances around before hitting the hole, settling for a half a yard gain. He's strong and powerful enough to get a good 3 yards, even when nothing is there... I have seen him do it. With that said, he's a young player and hopefully he will mature and figure things out. inkman
While I'm at it I might as well start really being a dick. LT is the best player in the NFL and it isn't close. The only player with moves like him is Priest Holmes and he isn't nearly as fast. LT is !@#$ing Holmes, Dunn, James and Alexander all rolled up into one MVP package. I love Willis as a player but he is no where near LT and I doubt he ever will be.

Should we start talking about the draft? signed Disgruntled Bills Freak!!! 517176 I don't understand why people take things out of context (like how all the national media has been doing)....The Guy was asked during a team conference call, who is the best RB in the league....What do you expect the guy to say.....that so and so are the best backs and I am an average back at best.....Come on....If Willis had said the opposite, everyone here will be bitching that the guy doesn't even have self-esteem...He can't even compare himself to the best.......If the Bills went with this attitude they have already lost the game..... To beat a team in the NFL, you have to go out to the field thinking that you are the best....You can show respect to the other team, but if you go into the game as the 2nd best, you are already defeated your self. If you are asked to identify the best employee in your group in your company how many are going to not say that it is you.....

Thats why Mularky told him to chill on the comments. I'm suprised Mularky even let the media go by Willis.

Dawgg
It's fine if he proclaims himself to be the best. The problem is, he isn't even close. So he comes out looking like a total jackas$ and the opposition has bulletin board material to feed off on. On a weekly basis, Chad Johnson brags about how the other team won't be able to stop him. Then on Sundays, he goes out and does it. That's why Marvin Lewis has no problem with it. Willis, on the other hand, proclaims he's the best RB in the NFL and proceeds to lay a big fat egg in the game. And before you go blaming the line, Willis has had his share of opportunities. Willis needs to either (a) BE the best back in the league or (b) STFU. For now, he should choose option (b). I don't understand why people take things out of context (like how all thenational media has been doing)....The Guy was asked during a team conference call, who is the best RB in the league....What do you expect the guy to say.....that so and so are the best backs and I am an average back at best.....Come on....If Willis had said the opposite, everyone here will be bitching that the guy doesn't even have self-esteem...He can't even compare himself to the best.......If the Bills went with this attitude they have already lost the game.....
