Solitary Posted November 26, 2005 Posted November 26, 2005 Anyone see this on sportscenter this AM? To show the futility of the Lions franchise they put up a graphic that showed since the year 2000 they have by far the worst winning percentage in the NFL. #5 on that list? You guessed it, the Bills. Getting VERY hard for me to justify TD as the GM, and I've always been at least a tepid supporter of his.
jester43 Posted November 26, 2005 Posted November 26, 2005 i gave him the benefit of the doubt for as long as possible...this year has put me over the top. the guy cabn't stock a roster. i really believe rtconner would make a better gm...at least as far as the draft is concerned.
Sisyphean Bills Posted November 26, 2005 Posted November 26, 2005 Here are the winning percentages of the NFL since Tommy D took over in Buffalo. It ain't pretty. Notice that the Bills fall below the BENGALS, SAINTS, and NINERS, teams that are generally ridiculed for their incompetent management and ownership. 1 0.267 Detroit Lions 2 0.293 Houston Texans 3 0.338 Arizona Cardinals 4 0.392 Cleveland Browns 5 0.405 Buffalo Bills 6 0.419 Cincinnati Bengals 7 0.419 Washington Redskins 8 0.440 Dallas Cowboys 9 0.446 Carolina Panthers 10 0.446 Jacksonville Jaguars 11 0.446 Minnesota Vikings 12 0.446 San Francisco Niners 13 0.459 New Orleans Saints 14 0.459 New York Giants 15 0.459 Oakland Raiders 16 0.473 San Diego Chargers 17 0.486 Chicago Bears 18 0.500 Miami Dolphins 19 0.500 New York Jets 20 0.500 Tennessee Titans 21 0.527 Atlanta Falcons 22 0.527 Baltimore Ravens 23 0.541 Kansas City Chiefs 24 0.541 Tampa Bay Buccaneers 25 0.581 Seattle Seahawks 26 0.608 St. Louis Rams 27 0.613 Denver Broncos 28 0.622 Green Bay Packers 29 0.676 Indianapolis Colts 30 0.699 Pittsburgh Steelers 31 0.703 Philadelphia Eagles 32 0.730 New England Patriots

Even with the great years, Ralph's below .500 A winning season for the Bills is the exception to the rule. The dark days are upon us once again. TD's just trying to keep the stadium full. That dough goes right into Ralph's pocket. Maybe they'll introduce another color scheme this off-season to keep the merchandise moving. Bottom line... without trying, this franchise will bring in a huge amount of money for his heirs. So why should Ralph bust his a$$?

This flies in the face of the "guys at the top bust their arses and take all the risks" crowd out there. RW you lazy arse!
Fezmid Posted November 27, 2005 Posted November 27, 2005 What is the winning percentage of teams if you only count the last 4 years? (ie: take away the 3-13 year where we had to cut everyone because of the salary cap). I'd venture that it's MUCH better, considering we had an 8-8 and a 9-7 year in there. Yes, not great, but I bet we'd be middle of the pack, and it's not TDs fault that we had to cut everyone. CW

I figured since I was pro-Whitey that you were probably anti, lol.....Nice to see that we have SOME common ground with regard to the Bills
