PromoTheRobot Posted November 26, 2005 Posted November 26, 2005 New Hampshire has been been known for football, but this year they finished the regular season ranked #1 in the nation in Div.1-AA. I can tell you it's 99% because of the their QB Ricky Santos. He replaced the upperclassman QB as a freshman and threw for 3,000yds and 30 TDs...as a freshman! This year as a sophmore, he threw for 33 TDs and 3,400yds. Mind you he's playing schools like Rhode Island and Maine, not U of Miami, but this kid has been dominating his league from the start. If you are not doing anything, tune in the UNH-Colgate I-AA playoff game on ESPN2 Saturday at Noon. I will be at the game. Let me know what you think of this kid. PTR
Lori Posted November 26, 2005 Posted November 26, 2005 Sounds like he's broken most/all of the UNH school records held by fellow PAHS alumnus Jim Stayer. Bummer.... But go Wildcats, anyway.
PromoTheRobot Posted November 27, 2005 Author Posted November 27, 2005 A slightly below-average performance for Santos and UNH this week: 18 for 28 - 252 yds passing - 14 rushes for 165 yds- 1 INT - 3 TD passes - ran for 1 TD - total offense ouput for Santos: 417 yds 4 TDs. UNH over Colgate 55-21. FYI: UNH averaging 45.5 pts per game this year. Watch them vs. Northern Iowa in the 1-AA Qtr Finals next week on ESPN2. PTR
Astrobot Posted November 27, 2005 Posted November 27, 2005 Wonder where #1 QB Tommy Chang is serving burgers today.
