Thailog80 Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 That today the arbitrator has ruled his four game suspension will be reduced to one game (Max two) and he will be immediately reinstated.

Thailog80 Posted November 23, 2005 Author Posted November 23, 2005 Doesnt mean he has to play. 511106 I have a feeling a bigger fiasco is just waiting to happen.
boomerjamhead Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 What are the odds that TO's new team plays the Eagles on MNF next year? I'm thinking they're pretty damn good.
Billsjunkie Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 I pray someone nabs him on the waiver wire before Donahoes spot because I want know part of TO. Something that TD would do to gain some favor with the fans I bet.
RuntheDamnBall Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 speculation 511114 Complete bull sh--. Using this logic, any star (or any player) on any team who's been benched could seek to be released if they're not going to play. Why even have contracts if this crap is going to happen? He signed with the Eagles. They are free to do whatever they want with him, especially if they have to pay him.

I think the speculationis that they would be better off cutting him then having to deal with him showing up in the weight room and in meetings just to spite them. I think they should let him go to the facility, but sectretly tell everyone else on the team that they are practicing and preparing somewhere else.
Mark VI Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 San Fran should claim him off waivers, then hold him hostage for a 2nd T.O. trade.
theesir Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 San Fran should claim him off waivers, then hold him hostage for a 2nd T.O. trade. 511136 YES!!!

Thailog80 Posted November 23, 2005 Author Posted November 23, 2005 I'll say he ends up in Dallas IF Philly releases him.
respk Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 If I were Philly I'd put his butt on the bench and leave him there. Make him dress and sit on the sidelines but the only way he would get on the field is during warmups and walking on and off the field. TO apparently still believes he controls his own destiny to the detriment of everyone else. Glue his butt to the bench then release him. The guy is so stupid he'd rant and rave and get his contract nullified and lose the money.
TheMadCap Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 This is a non-issue. They will just deactivate him. They will have to pay him, but he won't play anymore this year. The NFL cannot force the Eagles to release him...
ch19079 Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 this means jack squat to us. this only means the team has to pay him an extra 2 game checks. he will still be deactivated for the rest of the season. it is not worth all the press it is getting.
The Dean Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 San Fran should claim him off waivers, then hold him hostage for a 2nd T.O. trade. 511136 If he is released and SF has an opportunity and DOESN'T pick him up, they're crazy. Certainly a distraction can't hurt their season and would serve TO right.
Nixon Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 I'll say he ends up in Dallas IF Philly releases him. 511141 Good call. Minnesota maybe? He couldn't hurt that team.
SilverNRed Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 Good call. Minnesota maybe? He couldn't hurt that team. 511210 He could drive the sex boat!
