Like A Mofo Posted November 22, 2005 Posted November 22, 2005 Here are some road numbers I cam up with during most of the Teflon Tom regime: I will throw out Tom Donahue's first year with the Bills in 2001 at 3-13 for HIS benefit, lets start with 2002 (Drew's first year): Record of the Buffalo Bills on the road vs teams who finished with a 8-8 record or better in the year which they played them (for 2005, it is teams that are currently .500 or better): 2002: 1. 23-28 at Denver L 2. 23-10 at Miami W 3. 16-17 at Kansas City L 4. 17-27 at New England L 5. 0-10 at Green Bay L 2003: 1. 7-17 at Miami L 2. 5-38 at Kansas City L 3. 6-10 at Dallas L 4. 26-28 at Tennessee L 5. 0-31 at New England L 2004: 1. 14-16 at NY Jets L 2. 6-20 at Baltimore L 3. 6-29 at New England L 4. 38-9 at Seattle W 2005: 1. 3-19 at Tampa Bay L 2. 16-21 at New England L 3. 10-48 at San Diego L Total Record: 2-15 Points For: 216 Points Against: 378 Average Points For: 12 Average Points Against: 22.2 The proof is right here. 4 years of samples, and an absolutely putrid record on the road against teams that are at least .500 or more. What more proof is needed to show it is time for TD and his philosophies to be shown the door? It is just not gonna work.
Frez Posted November 22, 2005 Posted November 22, 2005 2-15........ Mother of all Gods..............that is just sad!

Like A Mofo Posted November 22, 2005 Author Posted November 22, 2005 The proofs in the !@#$ing team. The coaching staff, the players, and the record. Bills fans won't take another year of Donahoe. 509735[/snapback] Absolutely. And now its time for the excuses to stop. It really wasnt TH's fault totally was it? Maybe even not ALL DB's fault like we once thought? There have been 2 difference coaches, and 2 different OC's and the team has not gotten any better. The one common denominator besides really Gray is TD

NYGPopgun10 Posted November 22, 2005 Posted November 22, 2005 So it's the GM's fault the team can't win away from home???

Those records are embarassing, even for a team who is bad. And people called this team dangerous at one time?

But what about the coaching staff and the players? Ultimately, they're the ones that have to get it done away from Rich Stadium.

TD's hands are ALL over this team now, and man he needs to sanitize his hands, because this Bills team looks so infected right now.

You have a very young offense and no real pass rusher. It will take time.

DL is thin too...and again, TD obviously has a theory to build a team and IMO is just not working or really ever going to work.
Dan Gross Posted November 22, 2005 Posted November 22, 2005 Hmmmm, the Chargers have the same number of road wins over 8-8 or better teams over the same period, yet they are a "class organization...." There's a fine line between stupid and clever, I guess...
