My gut tells me that Tom Donahoe has a huge ego and isn't likely to jettison himself when he's in complete control of an NFL franchise. In retrospect, Ralph Wilson gave TD way too much power, and the aftermath might be awfully bumpy when and if The Chairman of the Board (Wilson) EVER gets around to firing his President and GM. VERY MESSY!!!!! :D

I think he'd be more likely to just hand over the GM duties to Modrak and take himself further away from the talent part of things.

More likely is that RW would kick TD upstairs (how many more stairs are there?) to become President only, and have him turn the football operations over to a separate GM.

I was thinking the same thing :)
