Stussy109 Posted November 21, 2005 Share Posted November 21, 2005 I hear a repeated ttheme of how good the game plan was, the scheme, and the coaches ABILITY on San Diego's side of the ball. It cam from both mularkey and players, they were simply outcoached. Mulareky once again outsmarted himself, by trying to throw JP intot he fire and make him pass on 90% of the plays in the 1st half. Where was Willis. How do u keep a good offense from lighting you up, you keep them off the field. We were clearly outcoached and outplaycalled this game. this game took both mularkey and jerry gray to school. It shows what an extra week of game planning and film diagnosis can do for a GOOD coaching staff. Jerry Gray appears to be stubborn. he ran the same zone blitz over and over and over again with no success the entire game. Mularkey made Mcgahee a non factor and hence allowed for the chargers to pin their ears back and take off. We need soem Experience and proven leadership in the coaching staff. We need a coach who can make in game adjustments. Mularkey starting to run in the 3rd quarter when we're down by 25 is a little bit toooo late to establish willis mcgahee.
