Shamrock Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 I remember seeing Marv Levy, the history Buff make a comment along the lines of, "The trouble with Hitler was that he couldn't win on the road." in respect to the importance of road wins for a season. So we're 0-5 on the road now? Time to go to Berchesgaden for the Bills? The D stopped the run but got killed by the pass- is this D so predicatble that if you take away one element from their offense they just go a different route to kill us? Likewise, how did our run game contribute (or not) to passing and vice versa. We just can't seem to consistently get anything to go for us at the present.

dib Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 He would say "It's not how many times you get knocked down, it's how many times you get up."
johnnychemo Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 He would say "It's not how many times you get knocked down, it's how many times you get up." 508669[/snapback] Nope, I'd think he'd say "Football doesn't build character, it reveals it."
HopsGuy Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 How about, "Will you excuse me for a second? My cell phone is ringing. [Glances at cell phone] Oh, never mind. It's RW calling to ask what to do. I'll let it go to voice mail."
