Chilly Posted November 18, 2005 Posted November 18, 2005 This is an interesting read, its about a city that revolves around the correctional facilities in Florida, which partially doesn't exist on mapquest and which isn't allowed to have visitors (EDIT: By visitors I meant people who take pictures, ask about ask about accommodations within the city, etc - not simply people passing through). http://www.firstcoastnews.com/news/news-ar...x?storyid=47638

Dan Gross Posted November 18, 2005 Posted November 18, 2005 If you read the article, it says that "certain roads" did not appear in mapquest, not referring to the town itself. Also indicates the roads are not blocked, but patrolled heavily. The news van did not run into a blockade, but was stopped by a corrections officer...I imagine you don't get major attention unless you: a.) have already had a news copter shooed out of the area and/or b.) drive off the "main drags."
