It used to take at least two feet for them to close when I was going there. Wimps.

Mark VI Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 and 20 minutes north in Tonawanda...nothing.. green grass, high tides and sunny skies.
Dan Gross Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 We got the northern tip of that in the boonies...just enough to coat the ground with white (and give me 5 minutes of work cleaning off the car this morning)....Didn't we hit 70 yesterday...? Just can't beat WNY weather.

ExiledInIllinois Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 Was a cold morning here in Illinois... Going to work it was 15 degrees and the thermometer now is only topping out at 23. I really don't want an early freeze here. River temps are already 43 degrees and with the sun still getting lower in the sky for about another month... I don't want to see things get ugly this fast and this soon!
BuffaloBud Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 My father is on his way to his brother's memorial service. OP Presb. Church cancelled the service due to the weather (10in snow). He is not going to be happy, after traveling from FL.

Dante Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 Threads like this remind me why I live out here. I like admiring the snow at Bills games from a distance. http://www.weather.com/weather/local/USCA0...=search_current
