AJ1 Posted November 16, 2005 Posted November 16, 2005 Capitollanders please register your complaint at jdraus@wrgb.com. Draus is the program manager, I believe. This occasionally works in getting the games switched if there is a big enough outcry. They just made the decision today.
macdaddy Posted November 16, 2005 Posted November 16, 2005 That blows. Another long drive back to Voorheesville hoping three/four beers over 3 hours isn't .08.
Turf Toejam Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 I sent my email in tonight, don't expect it will do any good. WRGB used to show the most 'relevant' game of the week between the Jets, Bills and Patsies, but their decision to 'feature' the Jets really sucks now.
Santa Claus Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 Last week they put a movie on a 1pm and waited to show the Jets Panthers massacre. Thank god for DTV.
Fezmid Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 Thank god for DTV. Exactly. I really don't care to hear people here complain about not being able to see the Bills. They made that choice, and (in 99% of cases) they could get DirecTV/Sunday Ticket if they wanted to. CW
JCBoston Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 Channel 4 in Boston also is claiming they will show the Jets game. Suprising, because of the Bills being the closest team to the Pats in the division.

And I don't care to read about people who complain about people who complain about not being able to see the Bills. Therefor I'm logging off and going to bed.

Let's see if anyone here can figure out why.
gsurdam Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 I just sent my e-mail... It can't hurt. It does suck that we get stuck watching the lousy Jets every week. The only time we get to enjoy watching the Jets get their asses kicked is when it's the Bills doing the ass kicking...

Question Ray: How does the text-to-speech interpret the various forms of the F word that are used around here? And yes, I already got PM'd. She's f$%&*cking pissed.

FanfromAlbany Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 I miss the old days when WNYT (NBC) had the AFC and you call in and vote for which game you wanted to see. Many Bills fans voted and we were on most Sundays. I wish WRGB would do that but I doubt they will.

Mikie2times Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 Hundreds and hundreds...? Try the cost of going to one game. CW 506038[/snapback] It's about 150$ or so, but I'm sure you get a better deal on the early bird special. I agree that the ticket more then makes up for it's cost in entertainment value. I'd pay 500$ to watch every Bills game as opposed to 2 or 3 games broadcasted in Ohio.
Fezmid Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 I'd pay 500$ to watch every Bills game as opposed to 2 or 3 games broadcasted in Ohio. Shhhh! Don't say that, or they'll raise the price (again).
