The Avenger Posted November 15, 2005 Posted November 15, 2005 Excellent article in the Rocky Mountain News that follows the officer responsible for family notifications for fallen Marines. Nothing political about it at all (not pro or anti war), just an excellent piece of writing I thought other might want to read - a super read. Enjoy! Final Salute

A bit on the lengthy side, but wow.
Campy Posted November 16, 2005 Posted November 16, 2005 I just read it again. Man. That's some moving stuff. I wouldn't mind buying Beck a cold frosty one for all he's doing to help the families of "his" Marines - definitely above and beyond the call of duty. Guys, if you have 10 or 15 minutes, read this.
Alaska Darin Posted November 16, 2005 Posted November 16, 2005 Sorry, too busy working on my Eddie Guerrero memorial website. He's a hero, you know.

Kevbeau Posted November 16, 2005 Posted November 16, 2005 Great article. Makes you feel proud one minute and heartbroken the next. Although I should have waited to read it at home. People look at you funny when you walk around work with red rimmed eyes.
