Bill from NYC Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 It was wonderful to see Lee Evans catch those 2 balls in the end zone. Hopefully, the Bils coaches will now look at the distinct possibility that KH might not have enough arm to get the ball out to LE. You guys can hate Bledsoe all you want , but Drew COULD reach Evans to the tune of 9TDs. If Holcombe cannot get the football to our best (imo by far) receiver, then there should no longer be a qb debate. We are in mid November, and the rough weather is rapidly approaching. It will soon be even more difficult to get the football to a wideout with this kind of speed. The Bills have invested FAR too much in both JP and LE to disregard those 2 long touchdowns that we saw yesterday. Leave them in MM, and send Evans deep!!!!!
zow2 Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 Seems like JP felt comfortable...relaxed...coming off the bench. You wonder whether he can be as effective as a starter again?...when the other team has a week to gameplan against him. Evans is the best we have and it worked yesterday because JP didn't overthrow him by a mile. He did show more touch. If KH has a serious concussion than it's a no brainer to start JP. If KH is healthy then it's a serious decision because once they go back to JP they cannot bench him again. He has to be the starter the rest of the year. The organization and fans have to be prepared for the good and bad with JP and live with it for the rest of the season.
MarkyMannn Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 I hope JP to Evans has the same success that Kelly to Reed had
