NavyBillsFan Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 GREAT GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
NavyBillsFan Posted November 12, 2005 Author Posted November 12, 2005 Should be 5-2. Friggin' officials. 500709 There it is for you man... 5-2 What the hell was the deal with that no goal?
Alaska Darin Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 There it is for you man... 5-2What the hell was the deal with that no goal? 500710 You know it's BS when even the Toronto TV guys admit the officials blew it and then made up the ol' "player in the crease" thing (not that there wasn't a player in the crease).
BillsObserver Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 Vanek is good. Was hoping he'd get it back!
Corp000085 Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 yeah there would have been a massive deal had the score been tied or the sabres down by a goal. Unfortunately, with the sabres winning big, that giant screw-up/screwjob by the refs will be swept under the rug.
Peter Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 We are back on track. Great game. It felt like the playoffs toward the end of the game. The big test is tomorrow.
taterhill Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 Connolly goal was one of the nicest I have seen in a while

Kevbeau Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 http://proicehockey.about.com/library/blqu...falo-nogoal.htm 500731 Fair take...but it still pisses me off every time I read about it. Time to go smash some bottles in the driveway.
OGTEleven Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 Fair take...but it still pisses me off every time I read about it. Time to go smash some bottles in the driveway. 500733 "Hull had possession and control of the puck. The rebound off the goalie does not change anything. It is his puck then to shoot and score albeit a foot may or may not be in the crease prior to." "Did he or did he not have possession and control? Our view was yes, he did. He played the puck from his foot to his stick, shot and scored." Fair take my @$$. Hull kicked the puck (accidentally) and then looked around for it before he shot it. I have guys in my league over 50 years old and over 275 pounds that can kick the puck to their stick and shoot it without looking if they have control. This guy is telling me Brett friggin Hull can't? Right. That is the biggest CYA job in the history of sports.

All goals are overturned except for ours. CW
Alaska Darin Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 http://proicehockey.about.com/library/blqu...falo-nogoal.htm 500731 Oh, don't get me started. The worst part of that goal is the NHL couldn't come up with one example of such a goal that had happened at any point during that season. I hate the friggin' lawn gnome.
Peter Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 The rule says nothing about change of possession. Everyone knows or should know that the no goal was perhaps the single worst call in a championship game in sports history. The NHL's after-the-fact attempt to justify what happened is embarrassing for the NHL and total BS.
BB2004 Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 I saw the game against Carolina, who's having a great season thus far. I thought Buffalo dominated them, but Carolina still found a way to win. It was good to see them come back from 3 goals down to make it interesting at the end.

Marv Levy Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 Great game SABRES!! Smack 'dem Leafers! YEAH!! Connolly = WOW!!!
NavyBillsFan Posted November 13, 2005 Author Posted November 13, 2005 NHL should just hand the Sens the Cup Buffalo getting rocked 6-0
