Wilson should can TD

The article starts of pretty good discussing the dismal record of TD....All

that sounds fine....But the solutions this guy offers stinks.....

The guy is effectively comparing Jim Fassel and Brian Billick to football-gods

like Gibbs and parcells......

What has Fassel and Billick done with their last teams that is better than what

MM or GW have done......Billick won the SB thanks to the team that was

already assembled.....He is yet to have a productive season with his offense.

Fassel stunk up the joint at the Giants....and is the current OC of the

Ravens....I think the Ravens are proabbly worse on offense than us....At least

we have a top 5 Running game.....

Is that all he could muster as the solution for the bills woes...If we have to

go to a Billick or Fassel, If I were RW, I will stick with TD and MM....

Billick or Fassel would be a huge upgrade for this dismal crew we have. Why have the Bills taken all year to realize that Peters is an upgrade at Tackle and Williams is better suited for guard? Hubris - TD took a tackle at 4 over all and that's what we got...until the noose tightened a little that is.

Look - while TD is in the wheel house, there is no fear we would get a Billick or Fassel - they're not cut from the puppet cloth our TD loves his coaches to come fron...Maybe he'll approach Hoffner fgor next year...he was too weak to challenge the SUNY establishment on what he needed...would fit great on one bills drive...

How would Billick or Fassel not be an upgrade? One has won a title and the other has experienced great success as a head coach. Mularkey is a bum, I'd rather have either one of them anyday. You got to be stupid not to see that.

My problem with his article is that he thinks the Bills' were run well prior to 10 years ago. Even with the Levy's great teams, the record's not good.

Why?

Note to self.... First time head coaches who end their 1st year of coaching with a winning record are bums and must be replaced by a "name" who has been involved in a superbowl game. By being involved in a superbowl game, this makes them smarter than other coaches. Therefore, in conclusion, only existing coaches who have already attended a superbowl should be considered as head coaches by any team. :D

Fine, I am stupid then. Judging MM on one winning season and one yet to be decided is not fair. Billick had one great year with arguably fantastic talent on the D side. What else has be done to merit greatness ? And Jim Fassel ? Conversely, MM has not done much wrong considering he is in his second year as a head coach. He has shown the guts to make changes and largely tried to balance the lack of talent with creative plays. A little infusion of talent on both sides of the ball will have us as contenders.

Grass always looks greener on the other side.

You know, before this season I never bothered with crap like this. What did it matter - fan for life, right? It took this year's frustrating start to make me aware that this is nothing new. This is business as usual for Wilson.

The exception to the rule is a winning season! It's been this way since the beginning. Small triumphs, minor victories and coming up short is our team's legacy. It is what it is.

We should change our logo to a picture of Hedda Nussbaum. :D

BTW - great new '05 Kansas quarters have a lone Buffalo on the prairie. Cool one. :P

:D I may have to get to a bar to see Big Mike's debut as an OG. This will be interesting.

Yeah, I was kinda wondering where that came from.

I have been depressed about the Bills, but not to this degree. :D:lol:

I did not say they were not a upgrade....but the upgrade is not in the same

sense when he compares them to coaches whose last names end as Parcells

and Gibbss...

I would rather get a Steve Mariucci (if he gets let go in Detroit). He may be

able to bring up a Losman/McGahee/Evans combination better.

365football.com doesn't have anything intelligent to say and this writer hasn't been impressing me. Connor Byrne really can't write. I am no pollyanna - but at least Sullivan from the Buffalo News can make valid arguments.

I don't think he's saying Fassel and Billick are on the same level as Parcells and Gibbs. I think he's saying that Ralph needs to be willing to dish out money to get those kind of people in here. He hasn't done it. We went with 2 bargain assistants as our last coaches and we're 29-43 for it.

I believe a fallacy shared by many fans and some press is that we can get any coach or player we want.....fact is not everyone wants to come here (same for any team).....many think this is like a video game where we push the magic buttons and get whatever we want.

For the record I think Moo is a good coach who is only going to get better.
