Bills Backers in B'more

I know, I know, I could look at the Bills Backers Forum. I did. I only saw the one about the BB of Central Maryland. Is there any place in B'more proper where folks get together to watch the Bills? I will be there just about every weekend between now and the end of the year. Any info much appreciated. Rico?

Thanks!

Exactly.

Seriously, I have no idea. I usually go to a local bar with NFL Ticket called Tully's... 1 exit west of the intersection between I-95 & the Northern part of the Beltway (don't like to drink & drive too far) .

I'm one of only a few Bills fans surrounded by Ravens fans, so if you're looking for a bigger scene, that may not be for you. If you're close or can't find anything else around though, PM me or look it up & stop by. ;)

There's a few Bills Backers groups, but none that are as active as the groups in VA, NY, or NJ. One of them meets @ a place in Fell's Point called Fletcher's. That place is a dive, and I wouldn't recommend it. The Central MD group meets in Columbia to watch the games, I think. You may want to check w/ SDS on that, since he founded that chapter. I'll be @ the game this weekend. Otherwise, you'd be more than welcome to watch it @ my place. My wife makes a great homemade pizza and I make wings when we have the rare chance to be home together to watch the games on Sundays.

That's most generous! To be honest the reason I'm going to be in Baltimore the next several weekends is that my daughter is in the pediatric feeding disorders clinic at Kennedy Krieger (Hopkins). She has multiple food allergies and is doing quite well but we are looking for every avenue that will help her to eat what she isn't allergic to ... My wife and son are with her. I have to work to pay the bills (and keep our insurance) but I will fly down every weekend. So you can see why (1) I was looking for a place in the city and (2) I will probably not be able to see any games live anyway. I will most likely DVR the games, stay away from televisions and radio, and watch them when I return home late Sunday nights.

Thanks all for the info, and thanks R.Rich for the offer!

Aw man, that's a bummer. Well, @ least she's getting good care. Kennedy Krieger has numerous services for children that are highly regarded. Then again, Hopkins owns a large chunk of Baltimore, so I guess it isn't too tough for them. If you have to send your child here for treatment, you could do much worse, that's for sure. I hope she continues to do well; you have my prayers.

Thanks, man.

We've been very impressed with the staff at Kennedy Krieger so far. The ironic thing is that my mother was a blue baby and had her surgery at Hopkins in the early 1950s (done by Dr. Alfred Blalock, whom Alan Rickman played in Something The Lord Made). So if it wasn't for Hopkins, my mom wouldn't be here, I wouldn't be here, and my daughter wouldn't be here. Weirdly it closes the circle, as it were. And we have no connection to Baltimore other than Hopkins.

I will give a shout if I'm ever able to get out for a game. Thanks again!

Padonia Station

Watching a game with Rich is a memorable experience, but if it doesn't work out one weekend, I found this to be a pretty good - level headed crowd place. Pretty good food, good bar and plenty of TV's. I haven't been for a couple years, but there always seemed to be plenty of Bills Jerseys in there. Rico might know better. Easy to get to right off the beltway.
