LaDairis Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 In the box score and the mouths of the announcers, Eric King did not really exist against the Pats. In reality, he was tested once and had very tight coverage on an incompletion. Many times, Brady sat there looking at him and decided against it. Eric King is officially a Fifth Round steal. I will give the Bill FO credit - they can spot coverage talent that the rest of the NFL cannot. The rest of the NFL "discovers" coverage talent at the combine. The Bills actually watch the games.
drnykterstein Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 if only it carried over to blocking talent also.
Mark VI Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 He's a Rookie and took his lumps early on, as expected. Is very fast and can close. I'm all for playing the kids more to see what they have over the last 6-8 games. At all the positions. They can't learn sitting and we have nothing to lose this year.
