BillnutinHouston Posted September 18, 2004 Posted September 18, 2004 Is he good enough to stick on the roster wothout a monster season? Not sure.
RVJ Posted September 18, 2004 Posted September 18, 2004 We have to wait for us to get a QB that can see the whole field before we start evaluating the receivers.
San-O Posted September 18, 2004 Posted September 18, 2004 Is he good enough to stick on the roster wothout a monster season? Not sure. 36124[/snapback] I think he will be evaluated at the end of the season, like everyone else, and if the staff sees a lot of drops like last year and him being unable to get open in three receiver sets he may very well be gone. This also assumes he is not the starting No. 2 receiver at the end of the year, but can contribute.
njsue Posted September 18, 2004 Posted September 18, 2004 It took a short while for Eric Moulds to step up. Right after Andre Reed left the team.
USMCBillsFan Posted September 18, 2004 Posted September 18, 2004 He needs to step up but he also needs to be utilized in the slot where he belongs.
DC Tom Posted September 19, 2004 Posted September 19, 2004 From my point of view, if he doesn't step up and make plays this year, I want him gone. I was disappointed in his performance last year...but it was his sophmore year, and he moved up the depth chart a spot, so I felt he deserved to be cut a little slack. I see little reason to give him (or any receiver) the benefit of the doubt in their third year, though.
JohninMinn. Posted September 19, 2004 Posted September 19, 2004 Where's CajunBillsBacker? He probably has the best knowledge of Josh's capability. He had a nice preseason I thought.
