SDS Posted August 21, 2004 Posted August 21, 2004 Alright, I think I have the server picked out and it is a lot more inexpensive than a dedicated server with our current host. Our goal is: $2880 to provide 2 years of hosting. Our current total is: $4360. The range is from $5 - $200 This provides 3 years of hosting.... Thank you kindly!

Guest Matt in DC Posted August 21, 2004 Posted August 21, 2004 I'll see what I can afford after my trip to Atlantic City later today. If I hit it big, so does TBD!

Coach Tuesday Posted August 21, 2004 Posted August 21, 2004 Glad I could help - and, you ought to do this again, perhaps bi-yearly?? Doing it during the season would be great too, because that has to be a high-traffic time I'd imagine. Also, perhaps an auction?
T-Bone Posted August 23, 2004 Posted August 23, 2004 Scott, the scientist part of my persona was wondering if you could post a minimum and maximum donation amount range. Right now, the average donatiion is $35 and I was curious about the range around that number, standard error would be nice if you felt like calculating it.
stevestojan Posted August 23, 2004 Posted August 23, 2004 well, with all of our donations already we are up to 59%. Add the people going to the tailgate, and those that sent checks, and we should be good, no? Good job guys. We kick ass.
Guest Guest_djh_* Posted August 23, 2004 Posted August 23, 2004 look into www.ipower.com They have a virtual server package for $49 per month. I'm very happy with their service so far.
T-Bone Posted August 23, 2004 Posted August 23, 2004 Thanks Scott for that range information. That was quite interesting data.
RastaMouse Posted August 24, 2004 Posted August 24, 2004 Good Morning, I sent my donation via Paypal. First time user, I'm confident that it worked out but please send me a confirmation email of receipt...just so I know. Thanks again !

Realist Posted August 24, 2004 Posted August 24, 2004 Will send a check within the next couple of weeks after a small bit of a financial crisis is over. Thanks for all of your hard work!
BILLS4LIFE Posted August 25, 2004 Posted August 25, 2004 I was going to send you a check, but Im having some 'issues' with my bank. So I will bring some greens to the Opener.
USMCBillsFan Posted August 25, 2004 Posted August 25, 2004 My contribution will be coming soon. I have to wait for my paypal to be reset. I haven't used it in over two years and they have to send me an email to reset it. Sorry for the delay but my money's on the way....
stevestojan Posted August 27, 2004 Posted August 27, 2004 we are 89% of the way there before even having the tailgate? Wow. And, just curious, how much do you normally pull in at the tailgate? Could we be looking at 3 years of smooth surfing?
Fezmid Posted August 27, 2004 Posted August 27, 2004 The DVD fundraiser, while not a smashing success as I had hoped, did generate $100 for TSW. EDIT: We're up to $125. There may be another $25-$50 on the way as well. Not too shabby! CW
nick in* england Posted August 27, 2004 Posted August 27, 2004 The DVD fundraiser, while not a smashing success as I had hoped, did generate $100 for TSW. CW 8994[/snapback] Wow - thats a prett good total from the DVD's right there. Good going Chris.
