Here's what Donahoe needs to do.

He needs to call a team meeting and say:

The next piece of stevestojan that gets linked to a "play me or trade me" story is going to spend the next two years sitting next to Mike Pucillo on the bench.

I agree with that...but I'd rather see Mularkey prove his toughness and tell the players to STFU or he will fine them, like he did with Mike Williams. :D

That's good. But could we include their agents in that too?

I'd love to see Rosenhaus and the Postons get blacklisted or something. I can't stand those !@#$ers. ;)

I hate those ambulance chasers as much as the next guy and the NFL really needs to reel them in and do something about this stevestojan.

The agents run the NFL now and Tags needs to show them who really runs it.

Mike, you have to admit that this does ignore the very likely scenario that this was all his agent's doing. I realize that the player is the boss and all, but most of time, these kids are no match intellectually for these agents and the agents convince the kids to let them handle the business end as they see fit.

And how does Willis argue? Rosendick says "Willis, didn't I get you drafted in the first round? Didn't I get you a solid first round draft pick contract? Let me handle this and you just play football."

I think TD (and the rest of us) just need to put Rosendick on "ignore." The very fact that he is already perpetrating this mini-drama to pimp Willis when all he's done is played a scrimmage and a preseason game against back-ups says it all anyway.

Don't blame this on Willis.

Willis was recently (couple days ago?) on NFL Total Access on the NFL Network.....there were two impressions that his interview with Rich Eisen left me with: First, he seems to be very content to be in the position he's in. He was smiling, joking around, and seemed like a very genuine person. Second, and unfortunately, he came across as being dumb as a kicking tee. Hopefully I'm wrong about this and he is actually much sharper than I give him credit for, but I have a feeling that Rosenhaus can pretty much get Willis on board with whatever he wants him to do.

You know, as much as I hate this pimping crap, there is an argument that can be made that he is simply doing his job and maximizing Willis' value. You have to admit, he contributed greatly to getting Willis drafted as a first rounder (not to ssay TD bought all of his crap, buit I guarantee you that it had some impact).

Frankly, I doubt this is any big deal to the team or to Willis. The players know what is going on (they have agents, too), and TD and MM know the score as well. In the end, it is the fans who get all wacked out over it.

How in the hell can Rosen"stevestojan for brains" maximize WMs value when no one in hell knows WTF it is right now. 13 carries against 2nd and 3rd teamers is the measuring stick?? Drew Rosenass is a f-ing punk and needs to keep his f-ing piehole shut until we really know where WM is. Maybe Drew Rosenjerkoff is trying to get the most out of WM right now because he is a little unsure of WMs recovery.

His value is whatever someone is willing to pay him and to give up in order to get him, no?

If Rosendick can get someone like Miami lathered up enough, they might make the Bills an offer they can't refuse, and then give Willis a better deal in the meantime, or at least make him a starter.

I have said the same thing, that I think it is premature, but Rosendick pimped him before the draft and he ended up being drafted in the first round when common wisdom said he would be most likely a mid second rounder at best. His posturing and pimping did have some positive effect in that case.

All this does is keeps his client's name in the media and makes other teams think they may be able to get him. Like I said, I don't like it, but he is zealously representing his client.

Yes, now that is the only way I can see any of this really making any sense. It's already been shown that Willis isn't the one spouting off and making waves. It's also clear that Rosenhaus knows TD is in control of his team and not going to be played. So to me, the only way this makes sense is when you think about how it affects teams other than the Bills, i.e. to get some sort of trade offer that was so strong that the Bills would be compelled to take notice. But as far as this being some sort of orchestrated effort to disrupt things with the Bills, I don't buy it.

You think TD is dumb enough to get whored twice by the same douche bag. God I hope not.
