Mile High Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 With two of the NFL's strongest arms on the field tonight who would win in a game of long ball toss? Should be an exciting 15 yard shootout tonight!
Frez Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 Brady has a rocket. I don't know who said he doesn't? He can gun the ball down the field.

He can gun the ball down the field. 489684[/snapback] The first time I remember seeing Brady play was the last play at halftime some game where the Pats decided to throw a hail mary, so they brought in Brady for Bledsoe for that one throw... it might even have been his first regular season play.
Hollywood Donahoe Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 Brady has a rocket. I don't know who said he doesn't? People who haven't watched the Patriots since 2002 say that he doesn't. Back then, he used to float his deep passes and didn't put a whole lot of zip on anything in the mid to long range. Starting in 2003, though, he started going downfield often and with great effectiveness, and the Pats' bread and butter pass shifted from the 5 yard slant to the 15 yard in. Nowadays, he's actually one of the best vertical QBs in the game, by the numbers.
