Buffal0 Bill5 Posted October 27, 2005 Posted October 27, 2005 "Turkey Day" kinda grates on my nerves a little. If we can't "give thanks", perhaps the meaning of the day has been lost. If it's all about the turkey perhaps we should rename it "Gluttony Day" or "Tryptophan Nap Day".

You didn't even MENTION watching football! Seriously, how often do you get to see the Lions play?

Lions football and the aforementioned tryptophan...never a good combination for me.
BB27 Posted October 27, 2005 Posted October 27, 2005 Along the same lines of you can't wish anyone Merry Christmas anymore because its not PC.
aussiew Posted October 27, 2005 Posted October 27, 2005 But....I have to watch the darn Cowgirls play. I wish teams could take turns hosting Thanksgiving games.
