Simon Posted October 24, 2005 Share Posted October 24, 2005 I thought you were referring to me but then I saw the "sage and wise" and realized I was mistaken. You must be refering to Howard Simon....or maybe Corey Simon? But since I'm here I'll just say that we desperately need another good DT in the rotation, we need a legitimate LG who isn't regularly setting his offense back and we need a real NFL caliber QB on this roster, something we haven't had in 10 years. None of these things is likely to materialize before 2006, so for the time being I'd suggest that the staff on both sides of the ball quit trying to outsmart everybody and simply allow a talented roster to do what it's capable of. Feed Willis 'til your down 2 scores in teh 4th qrtr and dial it back with all the twisting and blitzing and see if we can maintain some gap integrity and allow good players to do what they do.
