Ramius Posted October 24, 2005 Posted October 24, 2005 initially i was against it, but it is so refershing to get away from the roler coaster for a while One mroe question? You see the usual crowd of posters during the week, but how come so many more bridge jumpers come out of the woodwork after a loss? Its not like we acually care that they think the Bills are the worst organization in professional sports. Thank SDS for OT forum! Thank you Scott, thank you!

"I'm going to jump off the bridge...and this time I really mean it!" I wish they'd just do it once and for all and get it over with, already.

Thank you Scott, thank you! 484684 You make an excellent point. I can't even bring myself to read anything over on main board. It's nice and quiet over here, allowing a broken man to get his mind off his football-related problems. And to answer your question...some people can only complain. That's it. And thanks from me too Scott.
nick in* england Posted October 24, 2005 Posted October 24, 2005 Hoorah! A place to escape the insanity of the main board (bored?) . I don't like losing as much as the next guy... but the up and down of the board is making me feel sea sick.
Frez Posted October 24, 2005 Posted October 24, 2005 Did you really expect something positive on the main board after that ass kicking in Oakland?
Puhonix Posted October 24, 2005 Posted October 24, 2005 Just comes down to the fact that People are quiet when things are going well.

Thank you Scott, thank you! 484684 Just curious though, where's all the positive posters after yesterdays loss? Do they go into hiding and then come out after a win? What's the difference? I sure did see a lot of " I told you so's" last week. I remember seeing something about threads being pinned and eating crow. Damn, I think we all just have to learn to take some lumps with the good games too. I'm sick to my stomach after yesterdays loss. This team should be chastised after yesterday, what's wrong with venting on the main board? We let it all hang out when we win, right?

Do you think maybe you could have picked another thread, maybe one where people weren't discussing how glad they were to get away from it all for a while? Or do you just feel compelled to spread the joy? Are you one of those guys who brings his cell phone to a quiet trout stream so you can loudly lament how poorly your stocks are doing?
ajzepp Posted October 24, 2005 Posted October 24, 2005 Yesterday was the first day I totally ignored the board after the game was over.....it was hard, but I did it. Some people change their view of the team and the season after every single game, and I just can't handle that crap anymore, lol. So I, too am very thankful for this OT board.....

Frez Posted October 24, 2005 Posted October 24, 2005 Sorry, back to your weekly scheduled medicne. I was never taught to run from my problems but rather talk about them.

VABills Posted October 24, 2005 Posted October 24, 2005 I thought it was a dog. 485241 I thought dogs hit Ed with telephone poles and squirted him with ammonia, I doubt he is man enough to have a dog, even a kick dog. Edit: sh-- you're right. Although I am nt sure he would be able to tell the difference. http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showt...ndpost&p=482948
