TheZone78 Posted October 24, 2005 Posted October 24, 2005 I've seen it a couple times last year......but now I'm seeing it all the time. I know his thumb injury slows up his defense against the run, but this guy just can't cover anymore....... At 4 million plus.....I don't think he'll be around next year. Somebody tell Sam Adams to stop being the penetrating DT. Let him use his big fat a$$ to tie up 2 blockers so London can make a play. So frustrating watching this. Where is Aaron Schobel these days? You know the coverage sack specialist.
bdelma Posted October 24, 2005 Posted October 24, 2005 How about the linebackers. Their really palying like crap too. I'd find three new ones after the season. Their done.

MooGoo Posted October 24, 2005 Posted October 24, 2005 i don't think we need three new LB's Just replace Posey. He seems to be just taking up space out there

Their done. 484391 I don't think "their" done at all. There aren't too many LBs in the league that can make plays when they have OL in their face. Unfortunately for us, our DL oftentimes seems unable to keep opponents' OL off of our LBs. With a solid run-stopping DT to play alongside big Sam, out think our LBs would be fine.
Ramius Posted October 24, 2005 Posted October 24, 2005 So frustrating watching this. Where is Aaron Schobel these days? You know the coverage sack specialist. 484385 Recording his 3rd sack yesterday...good for a 10th place tie in the AFC...the sky is not falling...

I haven't even seen him making tackles. But I've been drunk during every game. Most of what I read here on Mondays I don't even remember happening on Sunday.

PromoTheRobot Posted October 24, 2005 Posted October 24, 2005 You forgot to mention Troy "the Flash" Vincent. PTR

In space no one can hear Posted October 24, 2005 Posted October 24, 2005 I disagree about Milloy being slow or done. When your strong safety is your first line of defense ...there are problems. I think he is one of the few players showing any intensity out there on the field.
drnykterstein Posted October 24, 2005 Posted October 24, 2005 Our whole defense was tackling bad yesterday. It wasn't the same defense we have been used to seeing the past few years. Lawyer is not tackling well London is not tackling well No Spikes on the field. Those things I think add up to good yardage for other teams. Does London's contract expire. I've been his biggest supporter the last 3 years, but now I'm not sure if I would argue if we didn't re-sign him.
