Fezmid Posted October 22, 2005 Posted October 22, 2005 People have moved back into Love Canal, so it must be clean. 482724 I grew up in Love Canal until I was 4... My house was one of the lucky ones that was smashed into the basement and capped off... I wonder why I glow in the dark... CW

mcjeff215 Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 Sarcasm level was very high. I do think WNY is a good place to live. Taxes are too high and political leadership is nonexistant, but other than that; I like it. To each his own. 482642 I second that. If they'd figure out taxes and pull in a few more high tech employers, I'd be so homeward bound. Here in Atlanta, I can float a resume and line up five interviews in the span of two weeks. Up there? Eh. Not so much. Buffalo's worst trait would definitely be the negativity of a lot of it's residents. You know, "Here? Move back? Why would you do that? We have snow and everyone's poor. Look, there are rats eating my feet." Bah. -Jeff
