The Dean Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 In case you haven't heard, there is an astounding new Monk/Coltrane CD from a live performance at Carnegie Hall in 1957. Unreleased until this year, it was recently discovered on a tape at the Library of Congress. Lemme give a quick review: WOW! WOW! Holy freakin' s#it! WOW! For those who like this sort of thing, there are two complete tracks and a very interesting promotional video at this site: http://www.smellslikemusic.com/artist/page.../monktrane.html Enjoy the sweet sound of MUSIC. Check it out!
