Ghost of BiB
I just think the place is jinxed...but the Bills have to be due, aren't they?
Coach Tuesday
IMO you might see the Bills' D playing a lot of Cover-2 in this game. LaMont Jordan's strength is running to the outside, and he's a lot faster than people think. Cover-2 will keep our corners in tight to stop the outside run, and it should also give us the over-the-top safety help to take away the deep pass Collins loves to throw. I am scared to death of Doug Gabriel in this game - McGee, you'd better be ready to run.
ATBNG
Is anyone else surprised by the point spread? I would have guessed that it would be a pick 'em or that Buffalo would be a slight favorite, especially with Moss probably on the shelf.
meazza
noone really has respect for buffalo but if we keep accumulating wins that might change
JoeF
Lori--Chris Brown should hire you for Bills Digest. Your summaries are so much more entertaining than what they produce. A couple of short addendums: - The Bills are actually on a 2 game west coast travel winning streak with crushing wins at Seattle and San Fran at the end of last year (Combined score 79-16). The Mularkey post flight walk and cheeseburger menu approach seems to be effective. - Lori wrote it--but it can't be stressed enough...running up the middle will be tough tomorrow. We need to attack the edge a bit more early in the game...The one thing that worries me is that Kelly Holcomb has had trouble the last couple of games getting the ball to Willis on the off tackle. He doesn't seem to have the quickness to take the drop step and put the ball safely in Willis' gut without some hesitancy...results have been a fumble in each of the last two games...hopefully they worked on that in practice this week. Its totally a Holcomb thing-he needs to get the ball out there--and the off tackle is going to be a key play this week.
SactoBillFan
Great post as always Lori. Hopefully we can finally win one in Oakland. I wish I could see the game on TV, unfortunately it's blacked out here. I'm still contemplating "risking life and limb" and taking the drive to the Black Hole. Probably safer driving to Tahoe.
