After all the actor that plays Sayid is Indian, not Iraqi. 488435[/snapback] Dr Fong, you are correct. I am speculating as to Mr Echo's origins. If he has a Nigerian accent (which I am not even sure that he does) it is possible that he may be of Nigerian origin on the show. The actor's biography does indicate that he did spend some of his childhood in Nigeria. Accents are quite interesting especially when it comes to actors. Often times I take an actor's accent as is, even though many actors train themselves to speak a variety of accents. I used to collaborate with short film projects and it was amazing to see the actor resumes and all the accents they professed to master.
