Campy Posted October 18, 2005 Posted October 18, 2005 Got off the phone a bit ago with a buddy of mine who said that the talking heads on the ray-didio said Sir Randy wasn't going to suit up for the Bills game. Unless I'm mistaken, that leaves Joey Porter as their sole true receiving threat. Being #1 against the pass and #31 against the run, I guess we can expect to see LaMont Jordon carrying the rock A LOT for the Raiders. EDIT: They said he had bruised ribs and, get this, a bruised groin
MadBuffaloDisease Posted October 18, 2005 Posted October 18, 2005 They can run Jordan into 8-man fronts all they want. I'm not unhappy with this news.
Rayzer32 Posted October 18, 2005 Posted October 18, 2005 and, get this, a bruised groin 479873 Man, I hate when that happens.
Coach Tuesday Posted October 18, 2005 Posted October 18, 2005 Um fine but they embarassed us last year without Moss or Jordan.
bills_fan Posted October 19, 2005 Posted October 19, 2005 Um fine but they embarassed us last year without Moss or Jordan. I wouldn't go that far. We lost, but we had our chances to win.
shrader Posted October 19, 2005 Posted October 19, 2005 EDIT: They said he had bruised ribs and, get this, a bruised groin 479873 Was he visiting his former teammates last week?
Dan Gross Posted October 19, 2005 Posted October 19, 2005 I wouldn't go that far. We lost, but we had our chances to win. 479925 If not for a wrongly-blown whistle....IIRC...
/dev/null Posted October 19, 2005 Posted October 19, 2005 a bruised groin 479873 was he playing catch with Ron Mexico?
Gavin in Va Beach Posted October 19, 2005 Posted October 19, 2005 If not for a wrongly-blown whistle....IIRC... 479977 Didn't Travis Henry trip over a hashmark in that game on a 4th and 1?
MadBuffaloDisease Posted October 19, 2005 Posted October 19, 2005 Um fine but they embarassed us last year without Moss or Jordan. LOL! The Bills were "embarrassed?" If not for the zebras missing Travis scoring a TD on a 2nd effort and Mularkey not challenging it, the Bills would have won that game.
Dan Gross Posted October 19, 2005 Posted October 19, 2005 Didn't Travis Henry trip over a hashmark in that game on a 4th and 1? 479982 ...and the missing challenge...

Other than that, they were pushed around the entire game by a relentless Raiders passrush and they couldn't do a damn thing on offense.

Other than that, they were pushed around the entire game by a relentless Raiders passrush and they couldn't do a damn thing on offense. Well the TD, if called correctly, would have put them ahead. And it's not like the Raiders were doing much on offense, at home no less, either.

I also remember Drew getting sacked a lot (go figure) and some bad penalties on special teams. I see the Bills winning a close game this week - Rian Lindell winning field goal perhaps?
Navy Chief Navy Pride Posted October 19, 2005 Posted October 19, 2005 Didn't Travis Henry trip over a hashmark in that game on a 4th and 1? 479982 No it was the yellow line that shows the TV audience where the first down is.
Wacka Posted October 19, 2005 Posted October 19, 2005 Also the phantom holding on a long punt return and the hold in the end zone (safety) that wasn't in the end zone.
Britbillsfan Posted October 19, 2005 Posted October 19, 2005 The NFL apologised over the awful calls the zebras made that day. The Bills scored the points to win, the officials took them away. Hardly a game where the Bills were embarrassed.
Phlegm Alley Posted October 19, 2005 Posted October 19, 2005 Lets not forget the absence of Milloy--IIRC, Baker got toasted on that long TD pass for the Raiders only TD.

/dev/null Posted October 19, 2005 Posted October 19, 2005 "Groin" is NFL PC talk for "Ego". 480153 when RJ injured his butt, was it really just his pride?
