Besides a couple of teams this year (Indy, Cincy and Houston, Cardinals), most of the teams are very similiar in record and overall play. Having the NFL Ticket I get to watch a lot of non-Bills games. My opinon is that most teams, like the Bills, are inconsistant week in and week out. I think this is to do with the parity in the league. For example, take 2 weeks ago. Tampa v. Jets. On paper the Bucs should have killed NY, but lost, albeit on the road. Same thing yesterday, ALT v. NO - the Falcons should have blown out NO, but they didn't. I think if we (Bills) can step up our play just a little bit and find that consistancy in all aspects of the game (as we did at the end of last season), we can take advantage of the league's parody and work towards a playoff birth.
