linksfiend Posted October 17, 2005 Posted October 17, 2005 While listening to the game through some headphones at the stadium yesterday, I heard Jeff Burris report: "Curtis Martin's feet are always close to the ground"

Doesn't Burris have a degree in rocket science?
LabattBlue Posted October 17, 2005 Posted October 17, 2005 While listening to the game through some headphones at the stadium yesterday, I heard Jeff Burris report: "Curtis Martin's feet are always close to the ground" 477676 I happened to be in the car at this point in the game and also heard this. I'm still trying to figure out what he was actually trying to say.
macaroni Posted October 17, 2005 Posted October 17, 2005 Maybe he was compairing him to Jeff Garcia who's feet don't actually touch the ground ................... not that there is anything wrong with that ....
#89 Posted October 17, 2005 Posted October 17, 2005 Some runningback tend to leap and jump - Martin just runs through things. Come on guys
Fezmid Posted October 17, 2005 Posted October 17, 2005 I happened to be in the car at this point in the game and also heard this. I'm still trying to figure out what he was actually trying to say. 477682 He's probably saying that Martin runs instead of jumps. You know, like McGee did against the Saints and fell down, instead of just running around the pile and scoring a TD?
wnyguy Posted October 17, 2005 Posted October 17, 2005 In another amazing observation Burris also pointed out that Martins head always seems to stay between his shoulders. Where have they been keeping this guy?
